Our Philosophy

Living here in South Alabama. it is difficult to believe that children have become so disconnected from nature. The fact that nature is the source of our food is hidden by cans, boxes, and wrappers.

The connection that each of us have to nature is a basic part of reality and should be a part of our curriculum. The best way to make this connection is a hands-on experience.

The Partridge Plantation provides a clean and real-life experience. With two educational stations and two hands-on stations, the children will learn with a new appreciation of life, animals, and the connection between the two. We invite you to our farm and we will make this your best field trip ever!
